Welcome to Sacramento Bellydance

Capital City Raqs is a community-focused festival featuring live and recorded music, performances in a variety of dance styles, a professional dance showcase, and workshops by Master Instructors Karim Nagi, Roxxanne Shelaby, Shannon Burla, and Amy Sigil. Our festival will be held on March 22-23, 2025 in the large ballrooms of the Carmichael Elks Lodge, 5631 Cypress Ave, Carmichael, CA 95608. The festival space features a full raised stage, a large dance floor that will be used for workshops and festival seating, plenty of space on three sides for vendors, and plenty of parking. We will have a full service bar and in-house food available, as well as many restaurants within walking distance.
